Vehicle protection for owners
If your car is damaged or lost during a booking and the responsible borrower doesn't pay their deductible or what's owed to you, we will. T&Cs apply.
Trip Cover for borrowers
Borrowers are covered by insurance and vehicle protection, which covers them for most damage or loss (subject to exclusions). Learn more.

At the end of each trip, borrowers and owners can review the experience. You can see these reviews on the car’s profile or member’s profile.
All trip payments are securely processed using your Uber Wallet. No need to re-enter payment details.
Car safety reporting
Borrowers can report any car safety issues through the app, and we share these details with owners so they can fix any issues.
Car owners are responsible for keeping their cars registered, maintained and roadworthy. Borrowers are responsible for any damage or loss to the car that happens during their trip, with all trips including insurance and vehicle protection.
We verify all borrowers and remove members who don't abide by our Terms of Service. All bookings come with insurance and vehicle protection, and we're on hand to help with any issues.
